Chyrzyna is a small village in the administrative district of Subcarpatian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland approximately 10 mils west of Przemysl and 47 km /20 mils/ of SE of the regional capital Rzeszow. On August 23, 1939 III Reich with Soviets concluded a none aggression treaty named "Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact". In a secret annex to the pact it was found that in a case of territorial changes in the interim of Poland border between the two countries Soviets and III Reich will proceed along the Polish rivers.

On September 28, 1939 II World War was concluded the Soviet -German treaty on borders and friendship. Delineated the boundary ran along Chyrzyna, the small Polish village.
